Are you a detail oriented designer who has an eye for finding solutions to problems large and small? U-Haul International, Inc. is searching for User Experience professionals to become part of our growing in-house Digital Design Team. We contribute to the design and organization of numerous websites as well as native and web applications. Some of the qualities we're looking for in a UX designer are:
  • Natural problem solver who can define and untangle complex user experience scenarios
  • Can produce sketches, wireframes, sitemaps, and prototypes using digital media and paper
  • Understands how users think and react when using websites, and has respect for their motivation
  • Passionate about planning and conceptualizing entire web processes
  • Can create thoughtful interactions that are tailored to the user experience across all devices
  • Influenced by an understanding of responsive web design, the latest web design trends, and common usability practices
The ideal candidate loves Design, but loves Redesign even more! They can work well on their own or in groups and would also be able to openly communicate their ideas and be willing to receive constructive criticism.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Web Design, Applied Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, or other related field
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Web Designer or User Experience Designer
  • Portfolio required for consideration
