  • Initially provide remote help to U-Haul locations across the U.S. and Canada by supporting the usage and repair of mobile devices and other peripherals.
  • Responsible for the installation of structured cabling, voice, and data systems, TCP/IP, networks and wireless solutions. Work within a team environment to support assistance and other customer service activities. Responsible for supporting personal computers, peripheral equipment, networks, communication equipment and for proving support for user's software and hardware needs.
  • Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of PC applications, mobile devices and networks. Good Customer Service skills. Good organization and communication skills.
  • Requires sufficient analytical skills to assess problems or unusual situations and the ability to develop solutions. Must have the ability to install and troubleshoot most network equipment which includes; switches routers and modems. Requires the ability to work well in a team environment with little or no supervision. Must understand basic IP addressing and have knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control and operations of wireless systems.
  • Tools/Machinery: Standard network test instruments and hand tools, pliers, wrenches, current/voltage probes, signal measuring equipment. DATA crimps, power drills, voltage or current meters, wire or cable cutters, Personal computer, telephone and photocopier.
