Description:
    The Marketing Development Coordinator’s position plays a key role in the coordination and implementation of the department’s long-and-short term marketing strategies. The broad scope of the MDC’s tasks requires him to interact heavily with the various departments of the firm, including research, product development, supplies, sales, legal and compliance. This position will be responsible for the management of the “marketing mix”. The Marketing Mix includes all tangible & intangible elements that allow Oxford Life to market product. The MDC will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Develop/expand agent relationship management processes to maintain and grow our agent force.
  • Responsible for all elements of the marketing mix including websites, writing copy for brochures, and other promotional items such as graphic design and printing.
  • Research and report on external opportunities.
  • The achievement of frequent, timely and positive coverage of Oxford Life programs across all available media outlets.
  • Collect and analyze data on success and failure of our marketing efforts including website hits, sales figures, market share data, customer satisfaction and any other metrics that are a core part of the marketing process.
  • Help Oxford Life remain competitive by implementing agent surveys and hosting agent focus groups
  • Analyze the advertising activities and sales performance of our competition.
  • Assess the state of the economy as it relates to our firm’s industry.
  • Create various reports based upon your research that will be helpful when making business decisions such as the development of new product lines or the discontinuation of a poorly performing line of business.
  • Develop relationships with home office employees

Requirements:

  • PC literate-experience with e-mail package, Microsoft Office (Word – Excel)
  • 2+ years of marketing experience preferred.
Education/Training:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field of: Marketing, Economics, Finance, Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, etc.
