Under the direction of the Manager, Payroll Administration is responsible for reconciling various payroll deductions, accounts, inspect system output such as registers and standard reports, determining and correcting out-of-balance conditions, preparing and filing tax reports, and administration/maintenance of all team member non-voluntary deductions including Child Support, Levies, Bankruptcies, etc.

You will make timely tax payments, company liabilities and team member non-voluntary deductions. Keep abreast of federal, state, provincial and local taxing regulations and laws pertaining to Child Support, Levies, Bankruptcies, and Garnishments etc. seek and obtain advice from the legal department on documents that are unclear. Answer inquiries from various departments, field entities and government agencies. Act as a liaison between team members and federal, state, provincial and local agencies.

Essential Duties:

  • Review published tax regulations
  • Prepare and pay weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly and quarterly payroll tax returns
  • Prepare and initiate funds for wire transfers
  • Prepare and pay non-voluntary deductions including Child Support, Levies, Bankruptcies, and Garnishments
  • Maintain and update team members’ non-voluntary deduction records
  • Complete court ordered answer sheets and remit necessary forms with payment for Child Support, Levies, Bankruptcies and Garnishments
  • Notify courts and/or agencies of team member termination, leave of absence and verification of employment
  • Communicate with team members’, courts and associate legal counsel
  • Answer any incoming inquiries
  • Audit tax reports
  • Balance and control payments to accounts
  • Assist in quarter-end and year-end preparation
  • Reconcile W2’s
  • Prepare payments for various payroll deductions
  • Prepare and provide Insurance Billing
