Plant President

Direct the operations of the manufacturing plant, including machinery, fabrication, assembly and repair.

Understand and comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) regulations.

Approve policies, plans, and standards necessary to operate and efficiently.

Maintain control over policy, inventory, and budget.

Plan and anticipate future needs of the company with respect to additional or expanded facilities, tolls, equipment and personnel necessary for the effective development and maintenance of business volume and to meet required production, repair or assembly deadlines.

Develop standards to ensure machinery at the facility is maintained in safe operating condition at all times.

Ensure shipping and receiving procedures and schedules are implemented according to established guidelines and deadlines.

Hire and train assembly staff. Monitor scheduling of temporary personnel at the plant in order to meet production deadlines.

Ensure personnel functions are consistent with good business practices relating to hiring and training.

Ensure plant personnel adhere to all Federal/State and local requirements with regard to safe use and disposal of hazardous products.

Enforce production schedule by strategically allocating time and labor

Resolve HR concerns as they arise.

Plant President Minimum Qualifications:

· Previous managerial experience

· Driver’s license and forklift certification

· Fluency in OSHA regulations

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
