Primary Responsibilities
Organize and monitor inter-connected projects.
Work directly with the VP of Operations to define priorities and key objectives.
Advocate for Operations needs and objectives to IT to ensure that there is consistent and measurable progress.
Provide and present project review, metrics, and status for executive management.
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to organize and coordinate programs within the Operations Team. Work with VP of Operations and the Process Improvement Manager to align and advocate for business objectives, requirements and priorities across multiple implementation and IT development teams. Work with IT to communicate priority and core objectives to ensure that there is consistent and measurable progress. Advocate on behalf of the business as directed by the VP of Operations. Monitor and report progress of assigned projects. Use various tools and methods for tracking and encouraging progress.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in coordinating with staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. Ability to develop efficient strategies and tactics based on the audience.
The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization.
Responsibilities
Formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected projects
Work with Operations management on suitable strategies and objectives
Coordinate cross-project activities
Assess program performance according to key objectives
Work with teams to help resolve projects’ higher scope issues
Prepare reports for program directors
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position
Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management methodologies and software is a strong advantage
Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem-solving ability
BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; or equivalent work experience
