Storage Affiliate Agent (Full Time)

Get right to work helping customers in your first week as part of our comprehensive, initial education program. Learn and grow as you participate in weekly coaching and on-going education. Hourly base of $14.50, plus discretionary sales bonus – the potential to earn $17-20 per hour! This is a full-time, work from home position.
Storage Affiliate Agents take back-to-back, incoming calls from customers calling specific U-Haul Storage Affiliate locations across the U.S. and Canada. Primary duties include:
Serving customers by answering general product and rental inquiries, accept tenant payments, as well as secure and schedule storage reservations, and gate access codes.
Providing support to customers with U-Haul equipment reservations and existing business - making changes to reservations, answering general questions, and helping customers with concerns.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 16 years of age or older.
Positive, upbeat, self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude.
Proficient keyboarding and computer skills.
Ability to navigate and use multiple computer programs at once.
Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
Clear speaking voice.
General knowledge of U.S. geography.
Willingness to incorporate feedback to constantly improve performance.
You must have a quiet, private work area.
Ability to meet all technical requirements.

Compensation: U-Haul offers Storage Affiliate Agents an hourly base pay of $14.50 plus discretionary sales bonus, with the potential to earn $17-20 per hour and the opportunity for base pay merit increases based on performance. Note: Hourly base pay rate may be higher, depending on state or local minimum wage laws.

Scheduling Requirements:
Available to work 40 hours per week, 5 days a week (below are the available shifts in Arizona time)
9:00am-5:30pm
9:30am-6:00pm
10:00am-6:30pm
10:30am-7:00pm
11:00am-7:30pm
11:30am-8:00pm
Work at least one weekend day per week (preferably Saturday). Priority will be given when providing availability on Saturday.
Working holidays are required in order to provide support for our customers year-round. You may be scheduled to meet the Team and business needs.
The following is required to work from home:
You must have a quiet, private work area.
Dependent and child-care arrangements must be made as if you were working in-person at a U-Haul facility. This position does not allow flexibility to be on-call care for others during work hours.
All work duties, including initial education, must be performed at your home address.
If you want to switch or substitute computers at any time, Manager approval is required.
