Production Manager Primary Responsibilities:
- Hire and train assembly staff.
- Maintain control over policy, inventory and budget.
- Enforce the production schedule by strategically allocating time and labor.
- Resolve Human Resources (HR) concerns as they arise.
Production Manager Minimum Qualifications:
- Fluent in reading and understanding blueprints
- Regular attendance is essential.
- Previous managerial experience
- Driver’s license and forklift certification
- Fluency in OSHA regulations
Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.
Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
