Network Support Specialist Intern

The Network Support Specialist Intern will provide technical support to U-Haul locations across the U.S. and Canada by troubleshooting Internet connections, configuring network equipment and supporting mobile devices.

This internship will start February 3rd and will run for 10+ weeks.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for remote assistance to teleworkers connecting to the U-Haul network.

  • Will work within a team environment to provide Customer Service focused support.

  • Responsible for working with Service providers, end users and other U-Haul teams, to troubleshoot connections and equipment and take corrective action for problems.

  • Perform routine maintenance or other projects as required.

  • Will create and/or update internal tickets to document tasks, projects and daily work.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Networks, PC/Mac OS and mobile devices.

  • Must understand IP addressing and have knowledge of routing/switching, tunneling, security and wireless systems.

  • Experience with Cisco Meraki equipment and configuration

  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Requires the ability to work well in a team environment with little or no supervision.

  • Ability to follow through with tasks, projects and handle several tasks simultaneously

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Occasional off hours work is required.
