U-Box Customer Care Representative (Non-CDL)
Becoming U-Haul Company’s newest U-Box Customer Care Representative (CCR; local delivery driver). As a CCR, you will be responsible for U-Box containers and ensuring that customers are provided with friendly and courteous service. Experience a rewarding job and a caring company culture with U-Haul.
U-Box Customer Care Driver Responsibilities:
With training-
- Operate a flatbed truck (training provided).
- Operate an 8000-lb propane forklift or truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
- Load and unload storage containers for timely delivery.
- Transport storage containers to and from designated locations, such as customers’ homes and businesses (local routes only).
- Participate in ongoing professional development through U-Haul University.
Additional Responsibilities During Downtime (Cross-Training as a Customer Service Representative):
- Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center.
- Clean, inspect, and maintain equipment; move and hook up trucks and trailers.
- Prepare rental invoices and process returns.
- Perform other assigned tasks and cross-training.
Minimum Requirements:
- Willin to learn
- Clean motor vehicle driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Driver License

Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.
Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
