Major Case Unit Adjuster

Repwest Insurance, a subsidiary of U-Haul Holding Company, is seeking a Major Case Unit Adjuster.  Under the direction of the Major Case Unit (MCU) supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a desk of claims that are taken over by MCU for affirmative litigation. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be well organized.

This position is an in-office position located in AZ, PA or NE

Duties involve but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing/Analyzing all new correspondence received to file

  • Sending monthly status letters to involved parties

  • Manage phone calls and e-mails in a fast-paced environment

  • Acknowledge incoming suits/notifying supervisor & U-Haul Legal

  • Acknowledge LOR's & demands timely

  • Update files from monthly status reports received from Defense Counsel

  • Have the ability to prepare formal denial letters regarding coverage

  • Settling 1st & 3rd party claims using evident fraud as needed

  • Work closely with U-Haul Legal & MCU Defense Counsel

  • Work closely with FBI & NICB on their investigations

  • Any other duties that may become necessary

Experience:

  • 2 years of handling bodily injury claims preferred

  • Litigation knowledge/experience a plus

  • SIU knowledge/experience a plus
