Facility Housekeeper Responsibilities:

  • Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other facility areas
  • Dispose of trash and maintain clean waste disposal areas
  • Perform lawn mowing, trimming, and general exterior grounds maintenance
  • Complete recycling and dump runs as required
  • Scan and inspect storage units for cleanliness, occupancy, and maintenance issues
  • Maintain cleanliness of parking lots, driveways, and outdoor areas
  • Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as needed
  • Assist with basic property upkeep and facility appearance
  • Follow directions and complete additional duties as assigned by management
  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities as requested by your manager

Facility Housekeeper Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions, such as working around moving equipment, machinery, fumes, or cleaning chemicals. Employees may be required to use protective clothing or equipment such as gloves, masks, goggles, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires physical exertion, including long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Employees must be able to move equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs, with or without assistance.
