Assembly Welder Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG welding of steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components based on blueprints
  • Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings
  • Operate and set up machines used in the production process, or assist operators

Assembly Welder Minimum Qualifications:

  • Regular attendance essential
  • Ability to complete U-Haul sponsored welding training
  • Expertise with hand tools
  • Able to operate pneumatic tools
  • Pass on-the-spot skill tests

All Shifts Available

  • Monday-Friday(2nd &3rd))
  • Tuesday - Saturday (1st Only)

Hours (subject to change according to needs of ongoing projects):
• • 1st shift 5 am – 1 pm
• • 2nd Shift 1 pm - 9 pm
• • 3rd Shift 9 pm - 5 am

Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
